Specialist Services.

Childrens Eye Care

Our opticians are highly experienced in caring for children’s eye health. We are the ONLY practice in Long Eaton conducting weekly screening at the clinic at the Long Eaton Health Centre for children from the age of 3 and a half.

We also provide colour overlay assessment for dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties and offer a wide range of children’s frames.

Low Vision Clinic

Jaysons Optician’s is the ONLY Derbyshire Sight Support Services accredited practice in Long Eaton. We preform low vision clinical assessments for the visually impaired, while providing low vision aids, such as magnifiers and telescopes, to assist in daily tasks.

In addition, we provide a home visiting service which allows us to assess individuals in their own home and offer more specific aids and advice.

We are also registered to provide Low Vision Assessment and magnifiers to clients based In Nottingham.
