Hyperopia (long - sightedness)
A very common eye condition, objects in the distance appear generally clearer, while closer objects are blurred.
This is because either the eye is not powerful enough, or the eye itself is too short.
These changes cause near objects to be focused behind the retina causing them to be blurred.
Some people will be able to get around this issue by using their own focusing ability, although this greatly reduces as we get older and is easily corrected with spectacles and contact lenses.
