The Covid-19 Urgent Eye Care Service, or CUES, was set up shortly following the start of the pandemic. The scheme provides urgent eye care closer to home within selected local optical practices. In turn, this aims to reduce the pressure on hospitals and GP practices whilst also minimising the risk of contracting coronavirus via travel.
Who is entitled?
All appointments under the CUES scheme are covered by the NHS provided that you are registered with a Derbyshire GP.
